What we collect
- Your phone number (to identify you for matching)
- Your name (displayed only to your match)
- Your crush's phone number and name (to send the anonymous invite)
- A device identifier (for rate limiting)
How we use it
- To send anonymous WhatsApp invites on your behalf
- To check if your crush also picked you (mutual matching)
- To notify both parties when a match is found
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
Your identity stays secret
Your identity is never revealed to your crush unless they also pick you. If there's no mutual match, your crush will never know who sent the invite.
Data storage
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore). We do not sell or share your data with third parties. WhatsApp messages are sent via the official WhatsApp Business API.
Data deletion
To request deletion of your data, contact us at privacy@trymutual.co.
